I work as the education programs manager at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, just around the corner from Chicago, on the south shore of Lake Michigan. Indiana Dunes is part of the National Park Service. We maintain many partnerships and connections with Chicago and have a long history of activism with the environmental community there.

Personal Statement

As a mother of two who works in the environmental education field, I am dedicated to exploring and developing new ways to keep children's inherent love of nature alive and thriving. I have been working with the recent "Leave No Child Inside" efforts of Chicago Wilderness and focusing on how to reach out to new partners who recognize the health and being benefits of connecting children to nature.
